Update

Recently, I have come to a conclusion.  I'm interested in exploring the comparability between sleep and death.  Sleep is an imperfect fulfillment of death, nature's prophecy of the future death.  I think I will continue in this direction, and it will be my focus for my senior thesis.

My first project in ceramics class; a snail, with lots of foliage and other plant-like forms that grew out/on the snail's shell.  I wanted to completely cover the shell, but ran out of time.

Our 2nd project was about expanding out idea from the 1st project.  Since I want to further investigate the relation ships between sleep and death I'm making a sleeping deer, and on it's antlers there will be all the plants growing off of them.

For now, this as far as I've gotten, I will make another post, once I'm finished.

In my glass class, we are making 3D objects, and I decided to make a sleeping bunny.  Which kinda could almost look like a dead bunny.....

When we were making the mold, and we splattered some plaster over it, it looked really beautiful to me. It feels very quiet and almost surreal.
